Need Help Choosing the Right Solenoid Valve?

Whether you need a standard product or a valve tailored to your application, our team is here to help.

Bespoke Engineering

Standard solenoid valves aren’t always the right fit for every application.

Midland Flow regularly develops engineered-to-order solutions by modifying existing valve designs or creating new configurations to meet specific operating requirements.

This may include alternative connections, different materials, modified operating characteristics or integration into larger control assemblies.

Drawing on established Midland ACS and Alcon product platforms, we develop practical solutions that meet your technical requirements while reducing unnecessary development time wherever possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of solenoid valves do you supply?

We supply a wide range of solenoid valves, including direct-acting, pilot operated, spool and poppet valves in a variety of configurations.

Options are available for pneumatic, hydraulic and process control applications.

Which operating media are your solenoid valves suitable for?

Depending on the valve series, our products are suitable for air, inert gases, sweet natural gas and, on selected models, sour gas (NACE).

Certain poppet valves are also suitable for low pressure hydraulic oil and water applications.

Are your solenoid valves suitable for hazardous areas?

Yes.

Selected valve ranges are available with approvals including ATEX, IECEx, CE, UL and CSA, making them suitable for hazardous and severe service environments where required.

Are low temperature versions available?

Yes.

Selected solenoid valve ranges are available with low temperature seal options, including EPDM configurations for applications operating below standard temperature ranges.

What port sizes are available?

Our solenoid valve range includes port sizes from 1/4″ to 3″, depending on the valve type and series.

NPT connections are standard, with BSP options available on many products.

Are manual override or manual reset options available?

Yes.

Selected solenoid valve series can be supplied with manual override, manual reset and other operating options to suit specific application requirements.

Can Midland Flow manufacture bespoke or modified solenoid valves?

Yes.

Alongside our standard product range, we regularly modify existing designs and develop bespoke valve solutions to meet specific customer requirements.

This engineering capability remains a key part of our business.

Can Midland Flow help identify a replacement for an existing valve?

Yes.

If you have a part number, drawing, photograph or an existing valve, our engineers can help identify a suitable replacement from our current or legacy product ranges.
